About the Foundation

The JUNA Foundation was established in 2025 to honor the legacy of Judith and Naif Khleif, two individuals who believed deeply in the power of education to uplift, empower, and transform lives.

We exist to support underserved young people displaced by conflict – particularly from Syria, Palestine, and Lebanon – by providing access to high-quality education, mentorship, and opportunity. Our focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) reflects our belief that innovation and critical thinking are essential tools for rebuilding communities and shaping a more just future.

At JUNA, we don’t just fund education, we invest in resilience. Every scholarship we award supports a determined student who has faced hardship with courage and hope. We believe in nurturing future leaders, problem-solvers, and compassionate voices who will uplift their communities and shape a better future, starting with their own.

Our Impact

Stories from Our Scholars

My journey in the field of IT and Programming at MUBS has been one of growth, challenge, and discovery. In the beginning, I faced many difficulties, ranging from understanding new concepts to adapting to unfamiliar tools and technologies. However, through continuous practice, dedication, and a genuine desire to improve, I was able to overcome these challenges and build a strong foundation in the field. For example, HTML was very interesting to learn, and it gave me another idea about web client. What made this experience even more meaningful was the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, new places and share experiences that enriched my time at MUBS.
